Sarah Elizabeth Kothlow (née, Reeves; born April 29, 1989) is an American singer and musician who plays primarily the Christian genre of pop and worship music.
She has released five extension games and three studio albums (two of which have been released independently).
Early life and personal life
Reeves was born to Sarah Elizabeth Reeves on April 29, 1989, in Athens, Alabama. She is the daughter of John Mark “Hershey” Reeves and Tina Key Reeves, and has two younger sisters and an older brother.
One of her younger sisters, Mary Reeves, is in the Only in Stories group. Her father is a music producer and songwriter who helped create Sound Cell Studios in Huntsville, Alabama, where Sarah recorded her debut album.
Reves was given a call from God to be a religious leader when he was 15 years old. She is married to Philip Kothlow, and the couple lives in Nashville, Tennessee together.
Music Career
Reeves’ music career began in 2006 with the release of his first major label, Sweet Sweet Sound, an extended drama released on April 21, 2009, at Sparrow Records.
This extended play was his successful release on Billboard magazine charts, placing number 19 on the Christian albums chart and 9th on Heatseekers albums.
The song “Sweet Sweet Sound” has reached the top of the No. 27 in the Christian Song chart and in No. 24 chart of AC Christian Songs. Her next expansion, God of the Impossible, was released on April 20, 2010, with Sparrow Records.
The studio’s first album, Broken Things, was released on July 26, 2011. She released Christmas, an extended solo production, in 2013. Her second studio album, Acoustic Worship Covers, Vol. 1, released March 24, 2014.
On May 14, 2021, Belonging Co released “Eyes on You” featuring Sarah Reeves as the second commercial song from See the Light.
