Owo Massacre: The British government has condemned the brutal killings on Sunday at St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, Owo Kingdom, Ondo State.
Recall that less than 25 worshipers were killed by pastors who attacked a church in Owo.
A senior Catholic church official in Ondo State has put the death toll at 25.
It was reported that many worshipers were killed and a few others injured in the attack on St. Paul’s Catholic Church.
In response, Catriona Laing, the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, on Twitter, while condemning the attack, expressed her condolences to the victims and their families.
She wrote on Twitter, “Bad news today from Owo in Ondo State. I condemn those who commit these heinous crimes. I extend my condolences to all those affected. ”
