Way Maker by Sinach: A prominent religious leader, Sinach has set a new record with his timeless international song, “Way Maker”. The official video of the hymn song has surpassed 200 million YouTube views, making it the third most popular Nigerian song on the popular broadcast after the fall of David (241M), at the time of publication.
The “Way Maker” released for the first time in December 2015, has been translated into more than 50 languages and has been composed by many artists around the world, including Michael W. Smith, Leeland, and Bethel Music.
Thanks to “Way Maker,” Sinach won the USA Chamber Board of Christian Songwriters for 12 consecutive weeks, making him the first African to do so. In 2020, she won the GMA Dove Award for “Song of the Year” (Roadmaker).
Last year, “Way Maker” was named “Song of the Year” at the 2021 BMI Christian Awards, making Sinach the first African missionary to do just that.
