When a supernatural event shakes her hometown of Port Oswego, Naomi prepares to reveal her origins, with a little help from her faithful friend Annabelle.

After meeting Zumbado, the mysterious owner of a used car, leaving her in shock, Naomi turns to tattoo shop owner Dee, who becomes her hesitant mentor.
As she reveals her secret, Naomi also wanders around her high school friendships with both military children and local cities, including ex-boyfriend and high school joker Nathan;
Annabelle’s long, loyal boyfriend Jacob; The proud “village” of Anthony; and comic book lover Lourdes.
As Naomi travels throughout the land looking for answers, her findings challenge her beliefs about heroes.
