Amarachi, Osinachi Twin sister sings exactly like her
Famous faith singer Osinachi Nwachukwu was buried in tears with family and friends on Saturday at his father’s compound in Isochi Umunochi, Abia State. The funeral was attended by his twin brother, siblings, parents, children, pastors of the Dunamis church and followers.
However, her husband, Peter Nwachukwu, was not present at her funeral. Osinachi, who sang the famous song ‘Ekwueme’ passed away on April 8, 2022. Mrs Nwachukwu’s funeral will be held one month after the burial of another famous faith artist, Chinedu Nwadike, on May 25.
Foundation; The Osinachi Nwachukwu Foundation was established to preserve the legacy. The foundation certificate was presented to the family by Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, a member of the Isuikwuato / Umunneochi Federal Constituency of Abia State House of Representatives.
Ms Onyejeocha also represented the Minister for Women Affairs and Social Development, Pauline Tallen, at the funeral. The foundation is designed to support young people, especially women, in entrepreneurial skills.
Funeral customs; Most funeral rites are performed in Abuja. Before the final detention, there was a night of worship in Abuja on Thursday. Mrs Nwachukwu Osinachi’s body was moved from Abuja to Enugu, where a memorial service was held in Michael Okpara Square, Enugu State. Prayer Night was once again in Sochi, Umunoci in Abia province on Friday.
Death; A mother of four was allegedly abused repeatedly by her husband, Peter Nwachukwu, which led to her sudden death. Earlier it was reported that the singer had died of throat cancer.
However, soon after the news of his death spread, his family and friends lamented that his union with Mr Nwachukwu was violent. The 42-year-old singer was the lead singer at Dunamis International Gospel Center.
He has appeared in a number of popular gospel songs such as Rev. Paul Enenche (Dunamis, Abuja) “Nara Ekele” and “You Are Not Using Me to Play” by Emma. The singer, who starred in the song “Ekwueme”, which has been viewed 74 million times on YouTube, died at Abuja Hospital on April 8.
Test; The deceased singer’s husband, who also twice served as his manager, is on trial in the Abuja High Court. He was arrested by the Nigerian Police Force, ordered by Abuja, on April 11. Mr Nwachukwu faces 23 counts of domestic violence and murder.
The singer’s husband burst into tears on Tuesday during a court hearing when his twin sister Amarachi Ezeh testified about him. Defendant was accused of being involved in the death of the late gospel artist.
Osinachi’s twin went on to tell the court that her sister’s husband had repeatedly tried to sow seeds of discord in order to separate them. Ms Ezeh, 42, who lives in Enugu, entered the witness box to testify against prosecutors as PW3 in the premeditated murder case against Mr Nwachukwu.
He stated: “Pastor Becky Enenche of the Dunamis Congregation, Abuja, intervened before Nwachukwu allowed our mother, Caroline Madu, to visit us. He took our mother out of his house two weeks later, ”said Ms. Ezeh, bursting into tears as she testified.
Earlier, the prosecutor’s attorney, Aderonke Imana, made three oral submissions. The original application petitioned the court to rule that the people not involved in the case, court officials, correctional services staff, and witness caregivers should not be allowed in court when it was time for Osinachi’s two children to testify. The second application asked the court to allow the children to give affidavit.
