Peter Nwachukwu, Osinachi’s Husband allegedly sentenced to death

Peter Nwachukwu: According to reports reaching Gospelminds Entertainment, Peter, the husband of the late Gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu, has been sentenced to death by hanging.

According to sources, the State Government has opened 23 cases against Peter Nwachukwu in connection with the death of his wife, who died on April 8, 2022, after he was reportedly beaten.

The Federation Attorney General sued him under sections 104 and 379 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2015.

Defendant has been charged with culpable homicide, and the death penalty under Section 221 of the Penal Code. Ms Yewande Gbola-Awopetun, Principal, Gender-Based Violence, Federal Department of Public Prosecutions, Department of Justice, filed a case number CR / 199/2022 before the Federal Capital Territory Supreme Court, Abuja, on May 20, 2022.

The first count reads, “That you Peter Nwachukwu, 56, a man, on April 8, 2022 at the Aco Estate, opposite the police station, Lugbe, Abuja, FCT, at this prestigious court, commits an offense: culpable homicide with a penalty of death because he caused the death of Mrs. Osinachi Nwachukwu for your various acts of violence and aggression you know that his death would be the result of your actions. ”
