TEXT: Daniel 7:9-14 (KJV)
9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.
12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.
13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

DCLM DAILY MANNA MESSAGE
As we watch events unfold around the world, it seems that the reign of evil will never end. Atrocities never heard of before are being committed every day. The governments of the world seem to have run out of ideas on how to contain and contain this monster that is devouring the world. But will this go on forever?
The passage under consideration gives us the comforting answer. Daniel receives the vision of the final overthrow of the kingdoms of wickedness while the Ancient of Days sits on His throne of holiness and great splendor. It is a vision of the events of the last days when the kingdoms of this world will come to an end under Satan’s dominion and Satan himself will be brought to justice with his agents. God will then set up his everlasting kingdom, which will be sovereign.
While this vision points to a future fulfillment, it has a present application from which the believer can draw hope and comfort. Although evil can reign unhindered in the world; In the life of the believer and in all matters that concern him, the Ancient of Days sits on the throne and is in complete control.
Let this be your comfort and strength. But if you are still a sinner, you must give up sin and accept Christ’s dominion over your life. Only then can you have peace in this troubled world.

- Give praises to Jesus the King of your life.
- Surrender your life and destiny into the hand of Jesus afresh and ask Him to rule and reign in your life.
- Invite Jesus to come and reign in your family and nation fully and let Him displace all competing powers and purposes.
- Ask Jesus to come down at the crusade and reign with full manifestation of His power.
