Yaksha Ruthless Operations (Korean: 야차; Hanja: 夜叉; RR: Yacha) is a 2022 South Korean spy film directed by Na Hyeon. The stars of the films Sol Kyung-gu and Park Hae-soo based in Shenyang, China, the film tells the story of a black spy team leader and a prosecutor who was demoted from being a spy agency. The film was released worldwide on April 8, 2022 on Netflix.

Kim Boram reviewing Yonhap News wrote that the film is “an exciting spy set in a dangerous political climate in Southeast Asia”.

Kim praised the performance of actor Sol Kyung-gu, saying that he “portrays Kang-in well, and” his performance creates an unexpected on-screen chemistry with Park Hae-soo. ” alternative, surrounding a non-professional agent drawn from dangerous and perpetual intelligence. ”

Summing up the review Sengupta said the film is “interesting and high octane and watching it is a mixed bag.” Abirbhab Maitra of Ready Steady Cut rated the film 2.5 stars out of 5 and praised t “a chemical between Yaksha Sol Kyung-gu and prosecutor Ji-hoon (Park Hae-soo)” calling it “one of the highlights.”

But, Maitra found “the whole film is a little overcooked.” Concluding Maitra wrote, “it [the film] gives you leisure time, but the horizontal roads give you a jerk, uncomfortable and unsatisfactory.”
