Winners Satellite Fellowship’s Today MESSAGE
INTRODUCTION:
We can serve God with prayer and fasting as Anna did, and enjoy all the blessings of acceptable and fruitful ministry, becoming a sign and a wonder to our world—Luke 2:36-38, Exodus 23:25-26 , Hebrews 12:28
Luke 2:36-38:36 And there was Anna a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher; 37 And she was a widow, about forty and four years old, who did not leave the temple, but served God day and night with fasting and prayer. 38 And coming at that moment, she also gave thanks to the Lord and spoke of him to all who were awaiting redemption in Jerusalem.
Exodus 23:25-26: 25 And you shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst. 26 In your land nothing shall give birth or be barren; I will fulfill the number of your days.
Hebrews 12:28:28 Wherefore we receive an unshakable kingdom, let us have grace whereby we may serve God pleasingly with reverence and godliness:
Week 4 (Saturday, July 23, 2022): Kingdom Progress Prayer: A Platform for Mastery of the Supernatural
- Engaging in prayer and fasting for Kingdom advancement provokes the eruption of signs and wonders in our lives – Acts. 4:30-33/ Zephaniah 3:17/ Acts. 3:6-16
Acts 4:30-33:
30 by stretching out your hand to heal; and that signs and wonders are done through the name of your holy child Jesus.
31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were gathered shook; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they proclaimed the word of God with boldness.
32 And the multitude that believed was of one heart and one soul. None of them said that anything they owned was theirs; but they had all things in common.
33 And with great power the apostles bore witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all.
Zephaniah 3:17:
17 The Lord your God is mighty in your midst; he will save, he will rejoice over you with joy; he will rest in his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.
Act 3:6-16:
6 Peter said, Silver and gold I have not; but what I have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, arise and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankles were strengthened.
8 And he jumped up, got up and walked and went with them into the temple, walked and jumped and praised God.
9 And all the people saw him go and praise God.
10 And they knew that it was he who sat for alms at the beautiful gate of the temple, and they were amazed and amazed at what had happened to him.
11 And when the paralytic who had been healed held Peter and John, all the people ran to them into the hall that is called Solomon, and were greatly amazed.
12 And when Peter saw this, he answered the people, Men of Israel, why are you amazed at this? or why do you look upon us so earnestly as if we made this man walk by our own power or holiness?
13 The God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified his Son Jesus; whom you abandoned and denied before Pilate when he determined to let him go.
14 But ye denied the holy and the righteous, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;
15 and killed the prince of life whom God raised from the dead; what we are witnessing.
16 And his name, through faith in his name, made mighty this man whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is through him hath bestowed upon him this perfect health in the presence of all of you.
- As we steadfastly pray prayers for Kingdom advancement, God continues
to advance us supernaturally – 1 Samuel 7:3-6/7-10/1 Samuel 12:6/23.
1 Samuel 7:3-6, 7-10:
3 And Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying: If ye turn unto the Lord with all your heart, then put the foreign gods and Ashtaroth out of your midst, and set your heart upon the Lord, and serve him alone. and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.
4 Then the children of Israel put away Baalim and Astaroth and served the Lord alone.
5 And Samuel said: Gather all Israel to Mizpah, and I will pray to the Lord for you.
6 And they gathered themselves together after Mizpah, and drew water, and poured it out before the Lord, and fasted that day, and said there, We have sinned against the Lord. And Samuel judged the children of Israel at Mizpah.
7 And when the Philistines heard that the children of Israel were gathered at Mizpah, the princes of the Philistines went up against Israel. And when the children of Israel heard this, they feared the Philistines.
8 And the children of Israel said to Samuel, Do not cease to call upon the LORD our God for us, that he may deliver us out of the hand of the Philistines.
9 And Samuel took a suckling lamb and offered it whole as a burnt offering to the Lord. And Samuel cried out to the Lord for Israel; and the Lord heard him.
10 And when Samuel was offering the burnt offering, the Philistines came up to fight against Israel; but the Lord thundered upon the Philistines that day with great thunder, and staggered them; and they were defeated before Israel.
1 Samuel 12:6, 23:
6 And Samuel said to the people, It is the Lord who brought Moses and Aaron forward, and brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt. 23 And God forbid me from sinning against the Lord if I cease to pray for you; but I will teach you the good and right way.
