Travis Greene Biography
Travis Montorius Greene (born January 17, 1984) is an American gospel musician and pastor.
Music Career
Greene launched his music career in 2007 with the release of his The More on his Greenelight Records. Since then, he has released two studio his albums, 2010’s He’s Stretching Out, 2015’s He’s The Hill, and 2015’s extended track Intentional.

Early Life
Travis Montorius Greene was born on January 17, 1984 in Delaware to his mother Charleather Greene and raised in Warner his Robins, Georgia. Green’s father died of an aneurysm in his 1989. Green was originally stillborn, but he was revived. A few years later, when he was four years old, he fell from a four-story building and was resurrected in Germany.
Career
Green’s recording of music began in 2007 with the release of his December 4, 2007, The More from Greenlight Records. A subsequent release, his studio album His Stretching Out, was released on June 8, 2010 by Pendulum Records. The release of “Stretching Out” was Green’s introduction to Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart, peaking at number 27. “Still Here” and “Prove My Love” both charted on the Billboard Top Gospel Songs chart, reaching #17 and her #29 respectively.
Green released her RCA-inspired extended play Intentional on August 21, 2015, and Billboard Topped His Gospel His Album His Album at number three. His song “Intentional” made him number one on the Billboard Top Gospel Songs chart.
Green’s second his studio album, The Hill, was released on October 30, 2015 on his RCA Inspiration and reached number one on Billboard’s gospel charts. Green’s rise to the gospel genre has been featured in Billboard Magazine, Rollout Magazine, and Jet Magazine, and has appeared at the Essence Music Festival, Trumpet Awards, and BMI Trailblazers. In 2016, JET Magazine called Greene “the future of gospel.”
In 2017, Green was criticized for his decision to perform at President Donald Trump’s inaugural ball.
On February 2, 2017, Green recorded his third album Crossover.

On March 24, 2017, Green announced at his 2017 Stellar Gospel Music Awards that he won seven awards, leading the field of nominees. At the ceremony, Green performed a medley of “Made a Way” with gospel artists Israel Horton, Jonathan McReynolds, and Jonathan Butler.
