The Believer Is Not Appointed Unto Wrath – TREM Devotional By Bishop Mike Okonkwo
The Believer Is Not Appointed Unto Wrath – TREM Devotional:
TOPIC: The Believer Is Not Appointed Unto Wrath (TREM Devotional 27 June 2022)
“Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.” Romans 5:9 (KJV)
WISDOM FOR THE DAY MESSAGE
You see, God’s wrath is on those who reject Christ. Have you invited Christ into your heart? If so, know that you have been set free from the wrath of God. If not, it means you are headed for anger and condemnation.
This is a time of grace! A time when God does not bring judgment, but He shows mercy. God does not want any to perish. If you reject him now how can you survive when the world powers begin to rule over the whole earth and evil will be revealed in a way that will be a very bad day.
The mystery of injustice remains. That is why you see all kinds of evil, lameness, and evil in all the world. It is part of the end time. Matthew chapter 24 tells us about this. That is why you are seeing many deceptions that are a sign of the last days. The only way you can protect yourself is to get into the word of God.
“For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. Then the wicked will be exposed… ”(2 Thessalonians 2: 7-8).
The word “he” here refers to the believer, you, and me. The reason God does not pour out His wrath on earth is because of us. We will not suffer in the same way as the world. That is why there is a limit. The believer is the limit for God to pour out His wrath because we are so precious to God.
The devil is already roaming the earth and throwing small signs here and there. He is already in the world but cannot be revealed because the light is still there. We are the light of the world and the salt of the earth. And where there is light, darkness must come out. So before the devil attacks, we are out of the world. Then wrath will come.
