Snowfall: Los Angeles, 1983. A storm is coming and it’s name is crack. Snowfall is a one-hour drama set against the infancy of the crack cocaine epidemic and it’s ultimate radical impact on the culture as we know it.

Snowfall is an American crime television series, produced by John Singleton, Eric Amadio, and Dave Andron, first broadcast on FX on July 5, 2017. Set in Los Angeles in 1983, the series revolves around the first epicenter epidemic in the city.

The series follows the stories of several characters whose lives will be in conflict: 20-year-old drug dealer Franklin Saint, Mexican luchador Gustavo “El Oso” Zapata, CIA officer Teddy McDonald, and the nephew of Mexican crime boss Lucia Villanueva.

The series, first launched on Showtime in 2014, was taken over by FX ten episode season in September 2016. In August 2017, the network revived Snowfall for the second season, which premiered on July 19, 2018. September 2018, the series relaunched for the third season , which premiered on July 10, 2019. In August 2019, FX revived the series for the fourth season that was due to start airing in 2020, but the recording was temporarily suspended due to COVID. -19 disease.

The fourth season was first shown on February 24, 2021. In March 2021, FX revived the series for the fifth season which was first shown on February 23, 2022. In April 2022, FX revived the series for the sixth and final season.

The story follows three characters on a violent collision course: Franklin Saint, young street entrepreneur on a quest for power; Gustavo “El Oso” Zapata, a Mexican wrestler caught up in a power struggle within a crime family; Teddy McDonald, a CIA operative running from a dark past who begins an off-book operation to fund the Nicaraguan Contras and Lucia Villanueva, the self-possessed daughter of a Mexican crime lord.
