And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17-18).

Our theme font outlines some of the signs of our divinity. One is our dominion and power over sickness, infirmity, and infirmity. Not only do we have the power to cast out devils, we also have the power to heal disease and cure disease. Jesus made us healers. He said in Matthew 10:8, “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils. Freely you have received, freely give.” Notice that he did not say, “Pray to me to heal the sick.”
He said in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I will give you power to step on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will harm you.” He has made us superior to Satan, who is chiefly responsible for most diseases responsible for which people suffer. Why, then, are there Christians who, despite these realities, are still afflicted by sickness, suffering, and Satan?
Psalm 82:5-7 gives us the answer. It says, “They don’t know, and they won’t understand; they go on in the dark… I said you are gods; and you are all children of the Most High. But you will die like men and fall like one of the princes.” Many do not know God’s Word and are therefore unaware that they have power over sickness and infirmity; They are not aware that they have the divine life.
Jesus said in John 10:34, “…Is it not written in your law that I said, Ye are gods?” Peter calls us “partakers of the divine nature” (2 Peter 1:4). Paul says, “We are more than conquerors” (Romans 8:37). Sickness really cannot and should not thrive in your body because Christ is the life of your physical body. The Holy Spirit within you has already enlivened and enlivened your physical body (Romans 8:11). Believe in these truths today and act on them. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear father, you are gracious and kind; You are righteous, holy, righteous and true. Thank you for your life within me that makes me more than a conqueror; I live over sickness and infirmity. My life is excellent and full of glory. I go in and manifest the Lordship of Christ today in Jesus name. Amen.
