PREAMBLE

BIBLE TEXT: “And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me. And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.

And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces”. 2 Kings 2:9-12.

Each year has its own uniqueness. With the prophetic proclamation of 2023 and the double-part anointing released for greater achievement, the year promises to be a season of great encounters. However, it is clear from the above sentence that there is no glory without a price.
Elisha paid and ate twice as much as he did. The table was set so that each of us had our own portion as much as we liked. This begins with his 50-day fast announced by our Overseer, Daddy E.A. Adeboye.

DAY 16: THURSDAY 26TH JANUARY
TOPIC: NATURAL DISASTERS
BIBLE TEXT(S): GENESIS 6:17, PSALM 46:1-3

INTRODUCTION:

A natural disaster is a destructive event, a natural disaster. Floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, fires, tsunamis, landslides, plaques and more. People attribute those events to acts of God or some strange force, so they need to pray for God’s mercy and calamity from time to time.

PRAYER POINTS:

• Father; have mercy on us, may your people deliver us from natural disasters in Jesus name. Psalm 57:1
• Father, I am merciful and undo the calamities you wished to bring upon us because of our evil deeds. Exodus 32:14
• Dad; we humble ourselves and seek your face. Hear us from heaven heal our land and deliver us from natural disasters in Jesus name. 2 Chronicles 7:13-14
• Father; have mercy on us and forgive us for forsaking the only living God who serves and worships other gods in the name of Jesus. 2 Chronicles 7:20
• Father, hear us and save us from impending disasters and disasters already happening that have led to food crises across the African continent, in the name of Jesus. 2 Chronicle 20:9
• Father; bring disaster upon all enemies of peace and justice in our nation, in the name of Jesus. 2 Chronicle 34:24
• Father; listen to your instructions so that we may live safely and securely in Jesus name. Proverbs 1:33
• Father; forgive our sins, lest calamity pursue us in Jesus name. Proverbs 13:21
• Father, in your mercy, end all the disasters that your judgment has brought upon our country in the name of Jesus. Isaiah 47:11
• Father, by your mercy, let no calamity befall us from the north (do not make trouble spots in your land), according to your words in Jeremiah 1:14, 4:
  6, in the name of Jesus. Father, remember the words of Jeremiah 2:3 And bring disaster upon those who kill your children in our land, in the name of Jesus.
• Father, do not allow the mistakes of our leaders to bring disaster upon us, in the name of Jesus. Ezekiel 7: 26
• Father; have mercy on us for breaking your covenant that could bring disaster upon us in Jesus name.
• Father in the days of Jonah, you had mercy on the people of Nineveh. Have mercy on us too in the name of Jesus. Jonah 3: 6 -10

DAY 15: WEDNESDAY 25TH JANUARY
TOPIC: FULFILLMENT PROPHECIES FOR 2023

INTRODUCTION:

At the beginning of this year 2023, like every other year, God gave prophesies about future events likely in the international, national scenes and also as it concerns the Church and individual. It is our duty to pray in order to reap the positive sides of those prophesies

PRAYER POINTS: FOR THE WORLD

• Father, thank you for the gift of prophecy you have given your son and the entire church in Jesus name.
• Thank the Lord for the testimony of Jesus, the Spirit of Prophecy. Revelation 19:9-10
• Father, thank you for being the God of the ages and seasons. Our times and seasons are in your hands in Jesus name.
• Father, thank you for the beautiful weather this year wherever you are in Jesus name. Father, by the authority and control you have given us, we command that the weather this year will always be favorable to your church, in the name of Jesus. Genesis 1:26
• Father, in the name of Jesus, thwart and foil all plans of the enemy to attack and afflict your children with bad weather. Isaiah 44:25, Job.5:12.
• Floods, tornadoes, tsunamis, earthquakes, we encounter all kinds of disasters. This year was programmed in the name of Jesus.
• Father, no matter how unpredictable the weather is this year, I declare that there shall be no sun during the day and no moon at night, in the name of Jesus. Psalm 121:6.
• Father, by your mercy, keep our souls and keep coming and going in Jesus name. Psalm 121:7-8 Father, thank you for giving the world a Prince of Peace in the name of Jesus. Isaiah 9:6.
• Father, make your peace known to the world this year 2023 and lead to the growth of the church in Jesus name.
• Father, let every family around the world enjoy Your peace that surpasses all understanding this year 2023, in the name of Jesus. Philippi 4:6
• Lord Jesus, you come for us to have peace and send your Spirit into the hearts of all peoples so that the world may know true peace through your abundant mercy in Jesus name. John 14:27
• Father, in the name of Jesus, raise those who bring peace to the world. Matthew 5:9
• Father bless your church with peace this year in Jesus name. Psalm 29:11.

TOPIC: PRAYER FOR ELECTIONS IN 2023

INTRODUCTION:

Many nations are looking ahead for a period of general elections in 2023 including Nigeria. Knowing well that, though man may plan and prepare, but the outcome of a matter is of God. Let us pray for Nigeria and other nations holding elections this year.

PRAYER POINTS

• praise and respect
• Let’s thank God for all the electoral successes in our country so far
• Let’s thank God for holding the country together despite the challenges that have fascinated many past elections
• Let us pray for free, fair and peaceful elections in all our countries.
• Let’s hope electoral authorities don’t compromise standards at the expense of free and fair elections. Task 5:12
• Let’s pray that God directs and controls the whole process from beginning to end and thwarts the planned operation. Task 5:12
• Let’s pray that God will continue to guide voters to make wise and godly decisions without being deceived.

INTRODUCTION

Terrorism is a major challenge today in many nations of the world. These are the Antichrist spirits at work against the Church of Christ at this end time. We need to arise and pray that Jesus will reign and prevail in our nation.

PRAYER POINTS:

• Father, thank you for freeing us from the activities of these wicked ones. We only hear from them from afar, but we never allow them to come near us in Jesus name.Psalm 91: 5-7
• We cover ourselves, our families and our brothers with the blood of Jesus. Exodus 12:23

INTRODUCTION:

According to prophesy, we are witnesses to the reality of nations rising up against nations, troubles and killings in almost every continents of the World. In the midst of these turbulences, we need to pray for peace of God to reign.

PRAYER POINTS:

• Father; thank you for the relative peace that the nations of the world enjoy in Jesus name. Psalm 103:2
• Father, I pray that your peace reigns in all nations of the world in Jesus name. Psalm 85:8.
• Father, may those who cause conflict all over the world repent and seek peace in Jesus name. 1 Timothy 2:2
• Father, in the name of Jesus, lift peace-loving peoples and nations against conflicts and aggression in the world. Genesis 37:22
• Father, may your people become peace-loving citizens of the world and let your gospel spread throughout the world in the name of Jesus.

TOPIC: CAMP DEVELOPMENT (3KM BY 3KM AUDITORIUM)

INTRODUCTION:

The exponential growth the church is experiencing necessitated building a bigger
auditorium to accommodate the ever-increasing growth of RCCG. When the old Arena became inadequate to house the attendants in major programmes, God instructed our Daddy G.O. to build a 3KM by 3KM auditorium. This project requires huge capital and requires payers to remove all forms of obstacles and delays.

PRAYER POINTS:

• We thank God for how much he helped the project.Psalm 18:2.
• Father sends help to complete this noble project. Psalm 121:1-2
• Dad, unlock the skills you need to complete the project the way you want it. Philippi 4:19
• We condemn any language against the project. Isaiah 54:17
• Father, please open the windows of heaven and bless your children for completing this project. Psalm 115: 13
• Thank God for the progress recorded in Psalm 135 in the 3×3 Auditorium Project.
• Let’s thank God for the vision of this project that has resulted in the rapid development of the entire town of Agungfoe.
• Let us thank God, the author and finisher of our faith, for protecting all the workers in the field. Psalm 91:4.
• oh! Lord my father, blow away the four winds of the earth in favor of every camping project in Jesus name. Ezra 1:4.
• Father, in the name of Jesus, dispel every conspiracy of hell against the completion of the 3×3 auditorium. Isaiah 19:2.
• Father, raise up more helpers for the work of Psalm 20:2.
• Father, I thank the members of Team His Nehemiah for their hard work and dedication to the project. Help them more and bless them 1 Chronicles 5:20

INTRODUCTION:

If the Church of Jesus Christ must operate positively and successfully in this end times she must be united in serious prayer continually, there must be love and unity. It is a good thing for brethren to dwell together in unity.

• Father, thank you for your love and loyalty to your church. Psalm 92:1
• Father, we repent of all sins of strife, enmity, forgiveness, bitterness and resentment. Father have mercy on your church in Jesus name. Psalm 86:3
