JUST IN: COVID-19 contractors protest nonpayment in Abuja

Contractors that supplied COVID-19 medical equipment and items to the Federal Capital Territory Administration have taken over major streets in protest against the partial payment of money allegedly owed them since three years (from 2019).

The protesters blocked the entrance gate of the FCT Minister, causing gridlock and preventing vehicles from accessing the secretariat.
