Eme B Biography
Emerald Serwaah Boateng Bekoe, commonly known as Eme B, is a US-based Ghanaian gospel musician born on April 3, 2001 in Koforidua, Ghana. She discovered her ability to sing and write lyrics when she was five years old, so she sang in church whenever she got the chance.
She was raised by her grandmother until she was nine years old when she came to the United States to live with her father, the Reverend Jerry Boateng. Upon her arrival, she immediately joined the local church choir and she soon began leading praise and worship teams.
Eme continued to sing in her church choir, but she stopped writing songs after a few years because of the difficulties and challenges in her life she faced at her high school, Smyrna High School. This continued until she graduated in 2019, when she received a personal revelation from God that led to her first single, “Who am I.”
