TOPIC: Tips To Becoming The Best Version Of Yourself (2)

BIBLE TEXT: 2 Timothy 2:15

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”

In the last lesson, we highlighted five different tips for becoming the best version of yourself. This lesson is intended to be a further reflection on the topic discussed.

In order to be the best version of yourself, you must be willing to tame your fears. Fear is an insidious adversary that robs us of courage and distracts us from the present moment. Taming your fear is possible and a necessary requirement to achieve your best.

Another tip for becoming the best version of yourself is to learn to prioritize results. Since understanding how to be the best version of yourself requires looking within for wisdom, you won’t find yourself by collecting tons of information. Let your ideal self set the goal. Choose something simple and achievable, like getting organized or reading more fiction. Working towards a measurable goal is one of the most effective ways to get out of your head and build confidence.

Additionally, if you must be the best version of yourself, you must be prepared to create empowering rituals. All the most successful people in the world who have become the best version of themselves have something in common; they have developed the habits that make them great and put them into an empowered state of being. Such habits always include healthy eating and daily exercise.

You may also need to be more compassionate with yourself. Being the best version of yourself is about you – not other people. Stop comparing yourself to others and accept that everyone’s path is different. If you are not where you want to be, have compassion for yourself. You are at a crossroads and that is good. Instead of scrolling through social media or dwelling on a recent setback, practice self-love. Always remember to check off negative self-talk and replace it with empowering words.

Part of understanding how to be the best version of yourself is learning to be your own boss through effective self-management. Effective time management frees you from stress, directs you to your ideal self, and frees you from the expectations of others. To stay accountable and in control of your resources, review your progress monthly, quarterly, and annually. When you become your best boss, you become a better resource for your team.

Beloved by God, according to Germany Kent, with God you are stronger than your struggles and wilder than your fears. God provides comfort and strength to those who trust in Him. So instead of getting discouraged, stay positive. Cultivate positive and healthy emotions. Always see obstacles as opportunities, not defeats. With them, you are on the way to becoming a better version of yourself.

You will never be limited to the lowest background.
You will reach your destined heights.
As you walk with God, you will conquer new places.
You are considered for accelerated promotion and divine promotion
