Full Biography of Minister Chioma Jesus
Beloved Mama Evangelist Dr. Bora Ale is Minister (Mama) Amaka Okuuohha, popularly known as Chioma Jesus, a Nigerian gospel artist and songwriter known for her singing prowess in the Igbo dialect. am.
She is a matriarch of the gospel music industry and is also known for her 2003 released hit “Chioma.” Chioma Jesus got the name “Chioma Jesus” from her song “Chioma” and decided to add her Jesus. It is also the title of their debut album.
Chioma Jesus was born in Lagos on February 12, 1972 as Amaka Ebizie, but is from Imo State. She lost her father and her mother (Nze Eusebius Chukwumaeze Ebizie and her Lolo Dorathy Ebizie) at an early age, leaving her seven children as her eldest.
At the young age of nine she began singing in her church choir. Her pastor helped her develop her singing talent. However, she officially began her singing career as a soloist of the Scripture Union Fellowship many years ago.
Her musical career took root in the church through her church choir and she started singing when she was 9 years old. She later became a soloist as well as a choirmaster in her church’s Bible Union Fellowship. She wrote her first songs in Yoruba, mostly in Igbo and sometimes in English.
Chioma Jesus rose to popularity after her song “Chioma Jesus” became a hit in 2003 and is a household name in the Nigerian gospel her afro her genre. Although she is known to sing and write in Igbo, her first song was written in Yoruba.
Her popularity rose in 2010 after she was nominated for her Delta Yadah Award in 2011 and her Delta Yadah Award which she later won in 2012. Delta Yadah is an annual concert by a professional Gospel Her Singer in Delta.
In 2011, she released her biggest song, Her Praise, which reached her number one spot on the Nigerian gospel charts. She has collaborated with top her gospel her artists such as her Sinach and Samsong and has over 20 songs.
Some of the awards she has won include the Omega Legend Award for Nigeria’s Best Gospel Artist, Advocate for Christian Excellence in Christianity, and the Ministry of Gospel Music’s HFTBT Award for Transparency and Integrity.
Chioma Jesus has a foundation in Rivers State called the Inheritance of Mercy Foundation. She is also signed to Gospel Records with her label, New She Jerusalem Entertainment and CJ Entertainment.
She released her hit song “Praise” in 2011. In 2019, she released an album titled My Testimony. Songs on the album include prophetic hymns, I’ve never seen anyone like you, Okike imera (thank God Almighty), and Odilo Onye, which means there’s no one like you. Including Dika Gi.
She has also performed songs such as “Bulldozer”, Mercy Chinwo’s “Okemuo”, “Miracle God”, “Road That Changes Not”, “Odilo Onye Di Kagi” and “Favor Me”. Also known for hit songs.
