TOPIC: Praying In The Holy Ghost – Praying In The Will Of God (Seeds Of Destiny 19 July 2022)
SCRIPTURE: Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Romans 8:26-27.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: It is the Holy Spirit who helps us to pray according to the Will of God; He helps us to pray target-specific prayers.
Seeds of Destiny for Today 2022 NEWS
The surest way to ensure that our prayers are answered is to pray in accordance with God’s will. And the Holy Spirit helps us to pray according to the will of God.
Our anchor writing makes it clear that he who searches the heart knows what is in the mind of the spirit; for he represents the saints according to the will of God. The Holy Spirit helps us know and pray exactly what God wants us to pray at all times. God is not obligated to answer prayers that are not prayed in accordance with His will.
It is the Holy Spirit who helps us to pray according to God’s will; He helps us to pray purposeful prayers. The Holy Spirit helps us pray a prayer that hits the nail on the head.
For example, someone may be offered the opportunity to attend interviews at three locations: say, a bank, an oil company, and a telecommunications company. He then fervently prays for God to give him the job at the oil company because they believe that jobs in oil companies are good paying jobs, but that may not be God’s will for his life.
Well, God, who knows the end from the beginning, might have seen that if he got the job at the oil company, he would relapse. So if he prays the prayer asking God for the oil company job, God is not obligated to answer his prayers because it is not His will.
But when he begins praying in the language of the Spirit to know which of the three tasks to choose, the Holy Spirit would quicken his spirit to know the specific prayer to pray and the correct one To make a decision.
Praying in the Spirit, then, is an unavoidable necessity if you are to know the will of God in prayer.
Remember, it is the Holy Spirit who helps us to pray according to God’s will; He helps us to pray purposeful prayers.

Decide to pray abundantly in the Spirit.
Rely entirely on the Holy Spirit for an effective prayer life.
